Passenger Car All Season Premium Touring Tyres Tyre Review Highlights
Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 — rated 94%
while driving a Mazda CX30 for 3500 miles
Replaced Goodyear vector4season gen-2 SUV. A lot better when cornering, excellent dry braking, very detailed feeling. Traveled on snowstorm with motorway covered on slush on 110-120km/h and felt very confident. Also tested on deeper snow without any problems. I don't like a little buzz noise when rolling on bad tarmac. I would like it more comfort. Overall an excellent tyre -better than Goodyear- in a very good price. I think the definition "summerish all season tire" fits perfect

Michelin Premier AS — rated 80%
while driving a Mazda 3 Skyactiv 2018 for 25000 miles
I inherited them from the previous owner along with the car, so it's hard to say how many miles they've covered in total. All I can say is that they're already six years old. I've put over 20,000 on them now and still use them as summer tires. I haven't tried driving in winter or snow, but in fairly cool weather they don't stiffen up and retain their performance.
They're great in every way, except for one thing: if you drive in hot weather, be aware that they'll wear out quickly, even if the suspension is fine. I haven't encountered any major potholes on the roads, I always checked the suspension, and the tires don't even really need balancing.
But wear in hot weather kills them. As a result, I only have about 3-4 mm left, and the noise has become unbearable.

Continental AllSeasonContact 2 — rated 80%
while driving a BMW 325d M Sport for 5000 miles
I bought this tire to use as a winter tire in a mild climate and I've been very impressed. It doesn't feel much worse in terms of response and handling than my summer tires which are Goodyear Asymmetric 5's, in fact they have better traction in the rain than my summer tires which are worn and a few years old to be fair. My car has about 270hp and it puts all the power down in 2nd gear in damp conditions. Amazing tire all around that can be driven spiritedly with no issues and can also handle a bit of snow and ice as long as you're careful, which you have to be anyway with a dedicated winter tire.

Michelin CrossClimate 2 — rated 76%
while driving a BMW E46 3 Series for 30000 miles
Very good tires, in my opinion closer to winter tires than summer tires. Ideal for European winter. They wear out quickly in the summer on hot days, I do not recommend them for driving on the autobahn at +30° and speeds of 140-160km/h and they have a hard time with sharp braking on dry surfaces. I suspect that their frame deforms after this and they vibrate.

Michelin CrossClimate 3 — rated 67%
while driving a BMW 323i for 7000 miles
These tires are significantly inferior to the crossclimate 2 on snow and ice, as well as on wet roads. They have become more comfortable to drive, and most importantly, more wear-resistant.

Continental AllSeasonContact 2 — rated 28%
while driving a BMW 520d M Sport for 5000 miles
I am coming from Hankook Kinergy 4S2. These were excellent all season tires.
I changed to Continental AllSeason Contact 2.
Compared to the Hankook, the Continentals offer similar grip in dry and wet, though braking is noticeably worse.
However, where the Continentals suck is feel and input lag.
The continentals are absolutely not enjoyable to drive.
When you turn the steering wheel, you need to wait ages for the tires to react. I am absolutely stunned that Continental could create such a tire. On a few occasions I swerved left and right quickly in succession - the car feels like its on pudding, and the feeling is absolute crap.
I do not recommend these types - I have had many all season tires in the past and none behaved like this.

Michelin CrossClimate+ — rated 53%
while driving a Volvo V50 T5 for 38000 miles
Even when worn out, they perform well in snow and ice but not in rain. They don't stand out in any way

Falken EUROALL SEASON AS210 — rated 81%
while driving a Renault Clio 1.5 dCi 86 for 36000 miles
Reasonably quiet tyres great in wet condition wear down slowly so good for high mileage drivers overall I’d score them 8/10 and would buy them agsin

Michelin CrossClimate 2 — rated 73%
while driving a Audi SQ5 for 5000 miles
Solid all weather tire, wanted something in PNW weather that would let me run it year round without swaps.

Snow Performance
Really good, am able to hit up the ski resorts on pow days without issue. Grip was unquestioned here.

Rain Performance
No complaints, haven't noticed any slippage or hydroplaning.

Dry Performance
It's fine, not its strongest suit but no complaints considering the tire's expectations.

Fuel Efficiency
Quite poor, but this should be a well known drawback now for this tire. I'd say you could lose up to 15% of your fuel efficiency.

Road Noise
It's ok, not a strong suit here. Have the WRG5 on another car and it performs better as my point of comparison on this.

Michelin CrossClimate 3 — rated 79%
while driving a Volvo s60 D5 (163) for 5000 miles
I can't exactly recall the original CrossClimate (even though I did drive it with the same car way back when) to compare its grip but a shocking improvement over CrossClimate 2 and let's not even speak about the CrossClimate+ that for some reason replaced CrossClimate in Latvia.

I got CrossClimate 3's around the end of autumn in Latvia right around the time that morning frost started to set in and I was immediately blown away by how despite being well aware that the roads which looked wet were quite possibly actually iced over, my internal autopilot would just go: "pff, what a nice summer day," and drive like it was +18°C and slightly damp. And shockingly the car would typically behave like it was indeed a cool summer day. This is not how the older model felt or behaved in similar conditions - you definitely got the feeling that the old tire was close to its designed limits of a surprise frost in western Europe.

However on the first real winter day I did almost slide into a barrier when all of a sudden what appeared to be the usual maybe ice turned out to, indeed, be black ice and it was only the combo of Volvo DSTC and my many years of experienced that somehow managed to shed speed while sliding at a slight angle and then narrowly make the turn, if disgracefully. As such, these tires seem to work well sub-limit and have sufficient grip in almost every paved turn in Latvia but at least for me and my particular car give little warning for where that limit is going to be. That and my lack of a race track to drive on means I don't intentionally do driving at or over the limit.

Overall intentionally braking hard on ice to test for road conditions feels quite a lot less sketchy with CrossClimate 3 compared to previous model but it's also been years since we previously had a real winter, so I'm comparing experiences almost a pandemic apart and it also could be (mainly) due to improved threshold braking technique that the car now feels less sketchy when sliding on ice.

Overall probably not the winter tire for the nastiest Nordic situations or for bad drivers but at the same time definitely not as bad as most people would claim, since the store selling them to me thought I was a complete lunatic for trying to use them on barely maintained rural roads in actual winter conditions. If I had the suspension and wheels for it, I'd probably get the CrossClimate 3 Sport for hopefully better handling.

Regarding comfort and noise, pretty decent. Certainly better than any winter tire I have ever had in terms of steering feel or road noise. Real summer tires are nicer but I just never manage to wear two sets out before the rubber gets old, so I much prefer buying all seasons that actually will eventually wear out before they turn into glass. No idea about the new CrossClimate 3 but the previous CrossClimate 2 was probably on par with fresh cheap tires when severely worn.

Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 — rated 86%
while driving a Volkswagen Golf R estate for 4000 miles
Its a really good tire. Loads of grip in wet and dry. Stops well. Was really confidence inspiring over the winter in snow and ice. Lots of spirited driving on terrible country roads and didn't let me down. Only one problem, one of mine developed a bulge which wasn't great and it had to be replaced.

Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 — rated 76%
while driving a Alfa Romeo Giulietta for 3000 miles
Truly remarkable how well an allseason tire can perform in polish southern winter (more mountainy one :D), while still being very competent in wet and dry.
Dry performance is mostly noticeable in colder weather below 10C, above 15 when trying to drive dynamically u can feel it doesnt really like that but still performs quite well and provides quite bit of fun. Overall great pick for my use case (2 tire setup october-march allseason tire, april-setpember summer one).
